Armacell India Private Limited was formed in India as a Fully Owned Subsidiary of Armacell International GmbH in April 2005. However Armacell has been present in India since 1999 through a Liaison Office in Mumbai.

Armacell - The Global Leader in Flexible Insulation has 18 production plants in 12 countries on four continents and a presence in over with a turnover of approx. $500Mill.

Armacell pioneered the development work of foaming rubber and invented Armaflex - the first Rubber Insulation Brand in 1954. In India, Armacell were the first to offer a Class O Fire specification product- "Class O Armaflex" which combined this High Safety Requirement with low thermal conductivity and high Resistance to Moisture Ingress.

Over the years, internationally, technology has moved ahead-in Germany and in the US we have product offerings giving our customers better efficiencies and higher safety. We have decided to combine the latest German Foaming Technology in our Plant in Pune to offer the highest efficiency Rubber Insulation Product, with even better Long Term properties. We have also tied up with MicrobanTM for a higher level of safety through better IAQ in addition to the Class O Fire Resistance.
